Two things I’ve come to really pride myself in is being able to recognize:
- When it’s time to grow.
- When it’s time to pivot.
The last two years have taught me a lot about entrepreneurship, failure and acceptance.
Plotwist Creative was established to combat the lack of black leadership in the creative space. I really wanted to build an agency that gave potential clients an opportunity to see something that most don’t get a chance to – black and brown people joined together in producing amazing work. While what we have accomplished isn’t new to the industry, we simply wanted to be part of the change movement in being able to offer a unique journey and experience to clients who sought after people who looked like themselves.
The name “Plotwist” came from my love for film and the idea of being able to change course of a narrative. We completed that mission. Now, it’s time to move forward.
